Fantastic clay day with excellent hosts and hospitality

A great day of shooting the best presented clays I've ever had the pleasure of having sent over my head - simulated day with 5 varied drives - pigeon, high pheasant, partridge, grouse & v high pheasants! Amazing hospitality, smooth running and prepared for any situation. A truly simulated game day. Dawn, Andy and the team were amazing and will be getting back for another SIM day as soon as we can get booked in!

I attended the first SIM Day of the year at Harboro Rock. From beginning to end the day was fabulous. The hospitality is second to none starting with a quality full English breakfast and a beautifully cooked four course lunch. As for the sport it was faultless, plenty of challenging birds throughout the day. To summarise, well done Andy and Dawn for offering what is in my opinion THE premier Simulated Game Day.

I was made most welcome by staff and other shooter's I was placed in a group of 6 to shoot a practice round of 75 birds. Using fibre wadded cartridges supplied by the shooting ground as we were on Farming Land. We had never met but what a time I had , a bit of ribbing and encouragement as I hit a few clays . They were all good shots . Fantastic birds most looking fairly easy but some were quite deceptive , several catching all of us out, which raised a bit of ribbing. Lol Set against the natural Rock Outcrop. I shall return for for another most enjoyable day . THANK YOU ALL

Andy and Dawn run an excellent shoot, the day started with a full English breakfast, then onto the Pigeon drive to get us “warmed up”, then back for a drink. After refreshments we moved onto the partridge drive followed by the pheasant drive. We broke for a superb 3 course lunch and onto the grouse butts, finishing on the high pheasant. I shot nearly 1000 cartridges, it would have been more if my arms weren’t aching. You will run out of steam before the birds stop.

“over the last three years I have shot several simulated game days at Harboro rocks. There are plenty of clays for all guns of all abilities .

The topography of the shooting ground is so good for a clay shoot and sim days . Everyone there are so friendly and there's always plenty of chat between the guns .

Andy and Dawn are such good hosts and will always do there very best to help in any situation and the catering is first class.”

“Great day shooting simulated game at @harbororocksclayshoot for my 18th birthday! Between two of us we shot nearly 1500 cartridges so definitely got our money’s worth, but I’m very glad we chose to shoot @lyalvale_express 21g super lights. They’ve got far less kick and still break clays at 60+ yards! 💥
The food was amazing and the drives were really well set up!
It has been one of my best days out shooting for a long time so I couldn’t recommend highly enough 💥”

“I have been to Harboro Rocks Clay Shoot several times over the last couple of years. What can I say other than it has always been a great experience with some of best clay shooting I have ever done. Each visit the people shooting have always been friendly. The setting is second to none as is the hospitality.
