A beautiful day at Harboro helped make the perfect start to our Super Summer Series. Two scores of 70 from Dan Fox and Nick Walker have set the pace and a good turnout has put £95 into today’s High Gun prize fund.

Remember we are holding a 50 Bird Sporting competition this Thursday 23rd May starting at 3pm until 8pm.

First of all, we apologise to the first few squads out on Sunday, who experienced an unusual amount of failures. All traps were fully operational on Saturday evening as they were meticulously checked in readiness. Sunday morning’s procedure - traps were switched on batteries retested, release systems tested several times and all was ready to go. We are unable to explain why we had failures as squads started to go around and can only apologise once again!

The competition was stiff at the top with three scores in the 90’s. Daniel Barratt came out on top with a CPSA High Gun of 93.

Next shoot is 75 Bird English sporting Sunday 19th May

Beautiful weather lifted everyone’s spirits Which in turn gave us a good turnout.

A magnificent performance from Sid Ward, saw the shoot cleared with a perfect 75 a feat that has never before been done at Harboro under our administration !!

A day shooting in the sun took some adjusting to lol and the ground had dried out a treat! Thank you to Max Ward for making a great job of levelling up the entrance to the shoot.

Despite torrential rain a great turnout for Harboro Rocks first SSP of 2024. Two brilliant scores of 95 /100 by Daniel Barratt and Eric Weston shared the spoils . Thanks to all the markers and staff who took a proper soaking in the line of duty.
