Scoring Explained

New Scoring Effective 2nd August 2020

In the event of a draw the scores on each stand will be reviewed and the person who drops a bird first will be demoted. You must complete your scorecard fully for each stand ensuring your full name is legible. Scorecards not fully completed cannot be entered into the competition.

For example:

Tom, Dick and Harry all score 50

They all clear stands 1, 2 and 3    

On stand 4:

• Tom misses a bird on his first pair

• Dick also misses a bird but not until his second pair

• Harry misses a bird on his third pair

This means that:

• Harry is the winner as he was last to miss a bird

• Dick comes second

• Tom comes third as he was the first to miss  bird.
